About Us

Here at Retro Gaming Parts, we are passionate about Retro Gaming. We have been working in the industry for 3+ years both through our online console store Perth Retro Gaming and our Australian parts shop Retro Gaming Parts AU. 

We are a husband and wife team committed to supplying high end, hand-held and retro gaming parts to the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world. We started off business in 2018 with Perth Retro Gaming (Instagram: @perth_retro_gaming) which is a modding and retro gaming page. In 2019 we then expanded into the Australian market with our parts store Retro Gaming Parts before expanding to the UK in late 2021. 

Meet The Team

Chris is the CEO, founder and Tech Support. He works full time for both Retro Gaming Parts AU and Perth Retro Gaming. Chris is an Electrician by trade and is the driving force behind the start up of Perth Retro Gaming. Retro consoles is a passion of his since an early age and because Chris uses all the products sold in the shops, everything has been tested for quality.

Louise is the Operations Director, Logistics Manager and Customer Support. She works full time for Retro Gaming Parts AU and UK. Louise is an Accountant by trade and left the corporate world when Ethan (their youngest)  was born. Louise had a career change to help run Retro Gaming Parts when business exploded in 2020. 

Part Time Team members

There are several team members who help out in the back office. Sarah, Harry and Andy work in the warehouse. Aaron works in procurement and there are several external consultants who help out with Social Media, Tech Support and Customer Service. 

Chris and Louise have 2 young boys who like to 'help' out in the stock room. Their oldest Josh is obsessed with Mario on the Switch, and thinks that Mario on the SNES is ''made of blocks'' The youngest member of the team is Ethan who loves building towers with the packing boxes and generally being cheeky.

Why are we here?

Both Chris and Louise have family ties in the UK as they both spent their lives growing up in Manchester (north) and Essex (south). Due to Covid and restrictions on family visiting Australia, Chris, Louise and the boys took the opportunity to move back to the UK. Setting up a store in the UK was a natural step in the company's expansion. The Australian store continues to trade with our store manager Sarah who has been dealing with day to day operations since August 2021. Chris and Louise continue to manage and run the strategic and operational aspect of the AU store from the UK.

Our commitment to you

Retro Gaming Parts are in constant discussions with suppliers around the world for all things retro gaming. They endeavour to source high quality products required to repair or enhance retro consoles. The shops only sell products used in the console builds of Perth Retro Gaming. This way we can guarantee the quality and function of every product which goes out of our doors.

Chris and Louise will deliver a UK store with the same level of exceptional customer service that has come to be expected from them at Perth Retro Gaming and Retro Gaming Parts AU.
